From the field to the plate from a single source

Sustainability is on everyone's lips - including at Pahmeyer. Because we have been convinced from the very beginning that you can only produce truly outstanding products if you think and act responsibly. That is why we have set up a circular economy on our farm to recycle organic waste and produce 100% with green electricity, which we mainly generate ourselves. This is another way we live our motto: From field to plate from a single source!

Cultivation

Around 3/4 of the potatoes (depending on the harvest) that we process in our potato factory come from our own farmland - the rest from hand-picked partners in our neighborhood. This enables us to guarantee the highest quality of our potatoes as well as resource- and climate-friendly production.

Harvest

To ensure that our potatoes taste like real "Pahmeyer potatoes", we handle them with care from planting to harvesting. Our experience from over 20 years of potato cultivation, our expert knowledge and the expertise of our motivated harvesting team provide valuable services.

Storage

We continuously check the quality of our potatoes during the harvest. If this meets our high standards, we store the potatoes immediately and after extremely short transportation routes: in state-of-the-art air-conditioned and specially ventilated potato sheds directly on our farm.

Peeling operation

In our modern potato peeling plant, founded in 2002, we prepare our potatoes for further processing. They are peeled, fractionated and cut into the required sizes. The resulting peelings are heated and then processed into high-quality pig feed. All other by-products from the peeling process are collected and fed directly into our recycling system to generate energy. In this way, we use 100% of the potato!

Manufactory

We process the prepared potatoes into our high-quality, fresh and healthy potato convenience products. Thanks to our expertise and a special production process, we are able to dispense with conventional preservation. The result: Our products are characterized by a maximum of valuable nutrients and vitamins as well as an unmistakable, natural taste.

Distribution & Logistics

Thanks to a sophisticated logistics concept, we supply all our customers - from food retailers, wholesalers and restaurants to our delivery partner for end customers - with freshly produced potato dishes "just in time" every day

Short distances ensure that the maximum taste experience reaches our customers' plates - while at the same time having as little impact on the environment as possible.

Energy generation

Green electricity is generated in our own biogas plant from residual materials, as well as from parts of the organic by-products from our manufacturing operations. We use this in turn to power our production - as well as the waste heat generated in our combined heat and power plant.
